Malta Diving

Malta’s calm sea makes for excellent visibility and safe conditions, and for the more experienced divers there are various sites that include archaeological artefacts, from WWII or dating back to the Roman era.
The depths of the dives vary, from the very shallow 12-metre Ghar Lapsi dive to Lantern Point, an underwater tunnel that leads down to over 50 metres for those suitable qualified and equipped.
Known for its wrecks, Malta offers a number of interesting historical wrecks as well as wrecks scuttled through co-operation with assistance from the diving community and local authorities.
It is for this reason that Malta offers superb conditions to tackle your first level of technical diving.
Why go Tec?
Divers decide to embark on these courses for a variety of reasons. The courses enable a diver to go deeper with more safety, to extend their dive times and to visit dive sites out of reach of the recreational diver - with the added bonus of having fewer divers around you.
For lovers of wrecks, which by their nature tend to be in deeper waters, Malta offers a wealth of choice in water with great clarity.
And let’s face it, some divers just want the extra challenge of learning, dive with different gas mixes, to keep their dive skills honed, and to add new gadgets to their kit to feel just a tiny, little bit cool!
