Sharm El Sheikh
A Sharm El Sheikh diving holiday offers you a spectacular and diverse range of dive sites that are amongst the best in the world. From the famous Ras Mohammed Marine Park, to some of the most renowned wrecks in the Red Sea, the sheer number of sites means that there is something for all divers. Boat diving is the norm in Sharm and there are also some superb house reefs for diving and snorkelling.
Learning to Dive
Sharm is a good destination for novice and learner divers, with many easily accessible coral gardens that offer safe, shallow water and excellent visibility. This area benefits from the shelter of the land, which means conditions are usually calm to moderate and ideal for those new to diving. A full range of courses is offered at the centrally-located dive centre and there is a heated pool on site. Qualifying dives are often undertaken from the shore.
The exciting dive sites of Ras Mohammed Marine Park are what attract the legions of experienced divers to Sharm each year. Situated at the tip of Sinai, where the Gulfs of Suez and Aqaba meet, Ras Mohammed’s strong currents and nutrient waters are packed with schools of snappers, barracuda and jacks, coupled with the sharks that come to stalk them. Steep coastal cliffs are mirrored underwater with impressive vertical walls, which drop off 70m or more.
The Strait of Tiran separates Tiran Island from the east coast of Sinai and is famous for four large reefs that rise from the depths like vast underwater mountains. Here, the strong currents and dense plankton attract an impressive range of reef and deep sea species providing some exceptional drift dives.
Further west, round the southern tip of Sinai, lie some of the best wreck dives in the Red Sea. The legendary Thistlegorm is the most famous - a 415 foot World War II British supply ship which lies in 30m with an amazing cargo of motorbikes, trucks, guns and shells.
Twin Centre Diving
Diving in Sharm can also be combined with the spectacular diving available in Dahab, including the legendary Blue Hole. For more information please contact a member the Regaldive team.

Falcon Naama Star
"Good hotel for the weary diver. Comfortable, clean, close to Emperor Divers (5mins walk) and centre of Naama Bay (10mins max) and staff very friendly. Only stayed B&B but breakfast provided a good choice to start the day. Second time I have stayed and would happily go back when next in Sharm diving."

Holiday Feedback - Hilton Fayrouz
"I had a fantastic holiday, couldn’t fault anything.
I was very pleased with the rep, very attentive. In fact we’ve never received this kind
of service from a resort rep - I can’t speak highly enough of Amr.
No complaints with the hotel, very happy.
Happy with Regaldive's service and the arrangements, everything went very
We really enjoyed our holiday we booked with you. From the time we arrived at the
airport the service we got was excellent. Our visas were sorted out quickly, we
weren't kept waiting around and the transfer went smoothly.
The Hilton Dreams hotel was great value and the room was ideal for us, as it was on
the ground floor. We'd also like to pass on our thanks to your rep in Sharm, Lisa
Gates, and the Thomas Cook rep Paul Kelly.
Lisa arranged for us to return early after a death in the family. She was great and
kept in touch throughout to make sure we got back. Paul helped in arranging the
flights. This reflected really well on your company and I would definitely choose
Please tell them we are very grateful and my wife has made it to Ireland so can
attend the funeral - all thanks to them.
We will be recommending your company to all our friends.

We had a nice time at the
"We had a nice time at the Fayrouz. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice, and the hotel has an absolutely perfect location - close enough to Naama Bay to allow easy access, but not so close as to be loud or obnoxious or unpleasant. There are tonnes of restaurants within walking distance, too. Our room (205, at least for most of the stay) had a huge, very comfy bed.
We thought to mention just a few downsides. We had a great time, but these things kept it from being a 10/10.
-We travelled in March, and it seemed that most of the restaurants at the hotel were closed. This isn't a big deal, because of the proximity of other places to go
-What food we did have at the hotel was only so-so. 'international' night was okay, but hardly good, and overpriced relative to going off-site. The burgers and mezze selection at the Pirate Bar were forgettable.
-It rained heavily one day. This obviously isn't the hotel's fault. But what is the hotel's responsibility is the fact that it is so poorly equipped to deal with rain. Our ceiling gushed water into the room - luckily only in the bathroom, but still enough to soak our toiletries. We had to change room to a less nice room, and they tried to make this seem like it was A Big Favour, rather than something they obviously needed to do for us. In addition, all of the footpaths flooded, making it hard and potentially dangerous to walk around. It seemed to play havoc with the electricity, too. There was no wet-weather entertainment on offer.
-Some stuff is broken - half of the cardio equipment in the gym didn't work right, and a fair few of the sun loungers. Not a big deal, given how empty it was. And if I was Hilton, I wouldn't be investing money in Sharm either, given the political situation. But it's a minor annoyance."

Sharm diving and the Mexicana Hotel
"This was originally meant to be a shore-based diving holiday in Dahab, Egypt but was re-sited to Sharm El Sheikh when the Foreign Office advised that certain parts of Sinai were too dangerous to visit due to recent unrest in such areas. Any disappointments that might have been initially felt by the rescheduling of this trip were quickly dispelled as soon as we set off. We were only a small party but this encouraged a very rapid camaraderie that was sustained throughout the entirety of our adventure.
The hotel - the Mexicana Sharm Resort - was really very nice and proved that Trip Advisor commentators cannot necessarily be relied upon for objective summaries of facilities. The rooms were spacious with private patios overlooking one of two pools and the staff were friendly and helpful. Decent shops and restaurants were within walking distance and the bright lights and night life of Namma Bay itself was a ten minute taxi ride away.
We were diving with Emperor Divers and their staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. Our kit was loaded into the boat for us and we felt reassured that our safety, comfort and enjoyment was their highest priority. They collected and returned us every day. The boat - The Emperor Markus - was crewed by the most amenable staff. They couldn't do enough to help us (with kit and entering/exiting the water in particular) but the chief highlight had to be the daily cake, home-made, on board, daily, baked by the lovely chef. The lunch was always tasty, varied and plentiful and drinks were unlimited.
We were a mixed group of divers - in terms of experience and motive for coming on the trip - but this, yet again, had no impact on the extent to which we all enjoyed it and fulfilled our personal goals. Emperor Divers planned sites and dives for us that enabled everyone to dive to their level of experience and achieve their certifications. We spent two days diving locally in Namma Bay, one day at Tiran Island and two days at Ras Mohammed National Park. The conditions were spectacular. The temperature peaked to the low thirties on most days and the sea temperature averaged 23 Degrees.
The variety of dive sites meant that we were able to see and photograph a diverse variety of fish and plant life as well as experience a range of sea conditions - from tranquil drifts to quite brisk swells on one morning only. On the final day we were privileged to see a school of dolphins swim past the boat. No-one made it to their cameras fast enough to capture them in anything other than our memories because we were momentarily struck by the profundity of the moment. They weren't hanging around either. We blinked and they were gone. However we did manage between us over the course of the week to take hundreds of still and moving images of Napoleon Fish, Moray Eels, Barracudas, Eagle Rays, Manta Rays, Puffer Fish, Turtles, Lion Fish and that amazing Spanish Dancer spotted on the final dive - a night dive at Shark Bay - of the week. There were so many more than just these however. There isn't enough space here to list them all!
This was a fantastic trip!"

Holiday feedback – Ash Cloud
I would like to thank Regaldive for your help and support over the last week at the end of my holiday on the Emperor Elite, and particularly thank Lisa your rep in Hurghada.
After the volcano erupted, when the flights were delayed she did a brilliant job of finding us hotel accommodation at a time when it was very difficult to find out what
was going on. Once we were accommodated she kept us updated on the situation with the airline.
Thanks for a great holiday and a very special thanks to Lisa.
Till next time, Kenn"
Red Sea Holiday
In response to your email, many thanks to your staff on a most enjoyable dive trip,
and in particular to the dive crew and boat crew who looked after us so well.
The package was well run and the level of diving supervision etc was of the highest
standard, can you please keep me updated ref. future dive trips etc... I would be
looking to use you again after the way this trip was run.
Many thanks, and could you pass my comments onto the staff in Egypt.
Regaldive - Welcome Home
Thanks for everything, the trip was superb. The diving wasn't quite as good as we
would have wanted due to the weather, but that is out of everyone's control!!
We have booked with you several times before and are bound to do so again. I
especially like how the staff of Regaldive show such attention to detail, and how they
keep you fully informed about the progress of your booking and any changes as they
I also have to praise Emperor Divers - they are a truly marvellous and professional
Regaldive - Welcome Home
I had a fantastic trip aboard the Emperor Elite liveaboard, we saw manta's, sharks,
turtle's and much more :)
Thanks you for sorting it for me and I will be looking at my next diving later in the
"I'd just like to thank the team at Emperor for the week we've just spent aboard MY Elite. A fantastic weeks diving again and a wonderful team on board. A big thank you to Daniella, Csaba and the team for making our stay comfortable and homely. You just feel like part of the family on board. "A huge thank you to the wonderful staff and crew of the Elite for making our weeks diving down to St Johns such a fantastic and brilliant week. The crew from the Captain down work so hard to ensure that you get the most out of the week and nothing is too much trouble. "It is a short while since our holiday now, but we want you to know that we had a fantastic diving holiday on Emperor Elite. A friendly, hard working crew, excellent dive guides, and a great bunch of other guests to share the experience with. Really nice people of different nationalities, who were all fun to be with.
We are especially pleased that we booked through Regaldive, and we would be pleased if you wish to pass that on to Emperor. Emperor have given us a great time on all our 5 trips with them, and we will go with them again in the future, but Regaldive gave that extra to the holiday. When the authorities changed the clocks by an hour at short notice, we noticed that others were not so well organised, while Regaldive kept us informed, adjusted our schedule and made sure of our comfort with a quality hotel day room. (I am sorry, but I do wish I could remember the name of your representative in Hurghada to thank her personally).
The one detriment was that the Thomson Airways flights were late to schedule in both directions. A poor show Thomson.
Our very best thanks to Regaldive."

"I have just got back from a week's liveaboard on MY Superior. From booking to visa help at Hurghada airport to all staff on board, they were a total credit to your
I am already looking at your deals for future holidays.
Thank you once again.
We are now back home after a great trip and as requested, here are a few of my
1. The boat. We were all told that it is off to dry dock soon but it is worn out at the
moment! Other than that we loved the boat, the food was excellent and the cabin
was big enough.
2. The tour. Great tour, weather dependent but we were blessed with only 36 hours
of wind and generally mirror smooth seas so we got to visit all of the great sites
and none of the unpleasantness of sea sickness.
3. The guide. Simon Gardiner has been a guide for over 10 years and his
enthusiasm, client feedback, knowledge and helpfulness was absolutely fantastic.
He is a huge asset and is the only real client contact point. He is a great
ambassador and clearly loves his job.
4. The crew. Apart from the dive guide, the crew are also significantly responsible
for the enjoyment of the trip and this crew were no exception. They clearly love
the boat, are hard working, cheerful, friendly and helpful. They also work about
15 hours a day and did not seem to have a day off. A very good looking zodiac
driver called Mahmoud was really helpful and in challenging conditions was able
to ferry us back to the boat with a smoothness that was very welcome.
5. The team. Both yourself and Iain provided useful and quick responses before the
trip so we were very confident that we would not have any problems. Thanks for
6. The diving. I managed all 21 dives, every single one was fantastic and I was
sorry to leave.
The briefings were superb and even though I have done this tour several times, I
was suitably informed ready to dive.
Highlights included a 10 minute opportunity for about a dozen of us with a turtle
including his rest under a table coral being interrupted by a free swimming moray
eel; a guitar shark having a snooze on the bottom; finally getting a photo in focus
of a wart slug; diving with a shoal of milk fish that almost completely surrounded
Would I do this trip again? Yes, in a heartbeat. The unexpected 26 degree water
temperature and the sun out enough for sunbathing certainly did not hurt either!!
Thanks for your help in making this a memorable trip.

Feedback - Snefro 5 Mini Safari
"Good morning Clare / Simon,
Just a quick note to say “thank you” for all your assistance in organising the liveaboard. The boat “King Snefro 5” was great. The crew were fantastic and treated us like royalty, nothing was too much with help and assistance offered at every turn with a smile. The food was amazing and compliments to the chef on the variety and quality. One point only, you were advised that Charles doesn’t eat meat and although there was fish at lunch time no meat alternative was available for the evening meal. However, this is the only issue we experienced on what was overall a gold star experience. It was our first liveaboard and we will definitely go again. Please pass on our comments to Emperor and the crew. Regards, Judith Bailey
