7 nights with 6 days diving (16 dives minimum) - DEPARTING FROM Hurghada

Experience Level: Aquarius requires that you are a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent with a minimum of 30+ dives for this itinerary.

This liveaboard trip is rich in variety, mixing wrecks, drift dives and dives on coral gardens. Divers will discover the most beautiful wrecks in the North, fantastic drop offs at Ras Mohammed and finally they will visit the Brothers, known as one of the best places for divers in the Red Sea.

This liveaboard is offering famous dive sites such as: Siyul Kebira, Gubal or Bluff Point, Rosalie Moller, Thistlegorm, Ras Mohammed, Big and Small Brothers.

Day 1: Arrival at Hurghada airport, transfer to the boat moored at the Marriott Resort, Hurghada.

Day 2 to 7: Departure from the marina at the Marriott Hotel in Hurghada

A minimum of 30 logged dives are required for any diver to dive without a guide. The usual programme is 2 to 3 dives per day, with 1 or 2 dives on the first and last day of the trip and 12 dives for levels that require a guide, in compliance with the safety standards, on the following reefs:

  • Sha’ab El Erg
  • Siyul Kebira
  • Abu Nuhas - the ship graveyard

The reef is lying at the south entrance to the Strait of Gubal, a busy shipping lane that connects the Mediterranean with the Indian Ocean. Numerous ships have been wrecked on this half-submerged reef that previously had no lighthouse, four of which are still visible today and in good condition.

 Highlights include:

  • Carnatic
  • Ghiannis D
  • Chrisoula K
  • Kimon M
  • Bluff Point
  • Rosalie Moeller
  • Shag Rock
  • SS Thistlegorm
  • Small Crack

Day 8: Breakfast on the boat. Divers will disembark at 8.30am. Free day to visit Hurghada with its souks and restaurants. Transfer to the airport.

Please note: You are expected to be able to complete each dive with your buddy or following the guide. The guides may not enter the water and may remain onboard as surface support for some dives. As with all diving activities, the dive guide has the final decision regarding any diver’s competency to complete any particular dive. This is a sample itinerary and is subject to change without notice. The itinerary will depend on several factors including, but not limited to, weather, diving ability of guests & the number of other boats already present at the various dive sites.
