SAMPLE GUADALUPE ISLAND ITINERARY - 4 nights
This adventure is open to both divers and non-divers alike. Regaldive advise that there is no minimum qualification or experience level required for this trip - this experience isn’t limited to advanced divers. You don’t need to be a certified scuba diver to join this trip, although we recommend that you take a Discover Scuba Diving course prior to your trip and that you are comfortable in the water.
This is a sample itinerary. The exact itinerary for your trip may change based on the weather and other ocean related conditions. Our aim is to offer you the very best diving experience in the safest and most comfortable way.
The Solmar V starts the Guadalupe season at the beginning of August and runs through October. Trips are all 4 nights/5days with 3 full days of cage diving.
Panga Rides - Besides the unmatched service and knowledge that distinguishes the Solmar team, the Solmar V is the only boat with the correct permits that allow the team to take you on panga rides along the shoreline to observe the amazing colonies of Guadalupe Fur Seals and Elephant Seals.
Day 1:
Guests are picked up on day one at 10 am at a host hotel in San Diego close to the airport and escorted safely down to Cruiseport Marina in Ensenada, Mexico in an air-conditioned luxury coach. It’s actually a beautiful, scenic drive down the coast once you get past all the Tijuana border traffic. This is about a 1 1/2 hour drive, departing Cruiseport Marina at approximately 12 noon. It’s an eighteen hour crossing putting us at the island early morning of day 2.
Days 2, 3 & 4:
We will start operations immediately and day 2, 3 and 4 are spent cage diving with great whites.
At the end of day 4 we will start back to port.
Day 5:
Arrival back at port by noon. The luxury coach is waiting to drive guest back to San Diego that afternoon. However, because the border crossing at Tijuana can take time, we advise our clients not to book any return flights until late that evening or the next day.
