Please note:  We recommend that you are a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent to get the most out of this trip but you do not need a minimum number of dives to join. You should be comfortable with drift dives and currents can be strong. All your diving is made from dhonis or zodiacs to give precise entry and exits points. Please note: the maximum depth for diving in the Maldives is 30m.

   

Day One

  • Afternoon - Orientation dive (nice and easy dive, calm place, checking of gear etc)
  • Sail to south Male’ Atoll
  • Anchor at south Male’ Atoll, Lagoona  

    

Day Two

  • Morning - Dive 1: Vaadhoo Caves (caves, soft corals, pelagic and table corals)
  • Sail to south Ari Atoll
  • Early afternoon - Dive 2: Omadhoo thila (amazing reef formation, orange and yellow soft corals with full of marine life)
  • Late afternoon - Dive 3: Kuda giri (pinnacle, beautiful coral, and full of different types of marine life)
  • Anchor at Dhiggiri

   

Day Three

  • Early Morning - Dive 1: Kandu thila (amazing reef formation, sharks, caves)
  • Late Morning - Dive 2: Rangali Manta point (regular place for mantas)
  • Afternoon - Dive 3: Rangali Manta Point (regular place for mantas)
  • Sail to Maamigili for whale shark
  • Anchor at Maamigili

   

Day Four

  • Early Morning - Dive 1: Holiday outer reef (whale shark and surprisingly zebra shark)
  • Late Morning - Dive 2: Bodufinolhu Thila (whale shark, mobula rays and abundant fish life)
  • Afternoon - Dhigurah Arches (nice and easy dive, sometimes mantas and whale sharks)
  • Anchor at Dhigurah
  • Visit Dhigurah local island

   

Day Five

  • Morning - Dive 1: - Kudarah Thila (amazing pinnacle, full of marine life, gorgonians, thousands of blue striped yellow snappers)
  • Long crossing, sail to Vaavu atoll
  • Afternoon - Dive 2: Miyaru Kandu (channel for sharks, eagle rays and all pelagic)
  • Anchor Alimatha
  • Early Evening - Dive 3: Night dive Alimatha (nurse shark, sting ray, black tips and huge jack fish)

   

Day Six

  • Early Morning - Dive 1: Dhevana Kandu (channel for sharks, eagle rays and all pelagic)
  • Sail to south Male’ Atoll
  • Late Morning - Dive 2: Kudagiri Wreck (a small wreck and reef, very interesting marine life, easy dive)
  • Sail to north Male’ Atoll
  • Afternoon - Dive at Cocoa Corner / Guraidhoo
  • Anchor Near Guradihoo

   

Day Seven

  • Morning - Dive 1: Dive at Guraidhoo Corner
  • Sail to Hulhumale
  • Anchor at Hulhumale
  • Afternoon - Male visit

    

Day Eight

  • Departure

   

Please note: You are expected to be able to complete each dive with your buddy or following the guide. The guides may not enter the water and may remain onboard as surface support for some dives. As with all diving activities, the dive guide has the final decision regarding any divers competency to complete any particular dive. This is a sample itinerary and is subject to change without notice. The itinerary will depend on several factors including, but not limited to, weather, diving ability of guests & the number of other boats already present at the various dive sites.
