Starting in Cairo, the itinerary takes in the pyramids of Giza and the history of Cairo, before an journey to Egypt’s Red Sea coast for some superb scuba diving.
This itinerary is ideal for all levels of diver, families, groups and even snorkellers. Experienced divers can also adapt the itinerary to join a liveaboard instead of diving from resort.

Day 1
Depart the UK
Depart the UK for Cairo, arriving later this evening. You’ll be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel.
With views of the pyramids from superior rooms, and a rooftop heated swimming pool, the Barcelo Pyramids Hotel is the ideal place to unwind after your journey. Enjoy a two night stay including breakfast.

Day 2
Visit the Pyramids!
Enjoy a tour this morning to the pyramids in Giza, known as one of the last remaining wonders of the ancient world, dating back 4,000 years. You'll also visit the remarkable Sphinx, an ancient limestone monument guarding the great pyramids, symbolizing pharaonic power and mystery.
Afterwards enjoy a guided tour of the new Egyptian Museum, where you can see the golden collection of King Tutankhamen's treasures, royal mummies, and other unique collections covering the Egyptian vast ancient civilization.
The rest of the day is yours to explore Cairo as you wish.

Day 3
Head to the coast
Transfer to the airport today and fly to Hurghada, where you’ll be met once again and transferred to your next accommodation, the beautiful Breakers Soma Bay. Located around 45km south from Hurghada, this resort boasts exclusive hotels, sandy beaches and panoramic views.
Begin a seven night stay with breakfast and dinner included daily.

Days 4-8
Dive the Red Sea
Enjoy ten dives from the outstanding on-site Orca Dive Club, one of Egypt’s most established and professional dive operators.
The diving begins from the hotel’s house reef, while the beautiful Panorama Reef and famous Abu Kafan dive sites are only a boat ride away.
This area is great for snorkellers, and those looking to learn to dive, and the itinerary can be adapted to suit your needs.

Day 9
At leisure
Today is at leisure to relax and soak up the sunshine. If flight times allow, you may be able to fit in a couple of final dives today to get the most from your holiday.

Day 10
Depart for home
Check out of your Luxor accommodation this morning and return to Hurghada in time for your return flight from the UK. The end of your Egypt adventure!
