Where’s the best resort-based diving in Sardinia?
The northern reaches of Sardinia not only offer the best diving on the island, but also those of the neighbouring island of Corsica to the north. There are 40 dives sites to explore in this region, all less than 50 minutes boat ride away.
The Maddalena Archipelago is a cradle for rich and varied marine life with drop-offs, swim throughs and huge granite boulders to enjoy. In the Bonifacio Strait south of Corsica, the Lavezzi Marine Reserve promises octopus, grouper and barracuda amongst a labyrinth of canyons, rocks and caves.
