Musandam Liveaboard
A special Summer itinerary starting from Khasab (transfer included from Dubai) and exploring the unspoilt and almost unseen dive area around the Musandam peninsula and the Strait of Hormuz.
This itinerary includes some exploratory diving in a very promising area: choose from colourful coral gardens, rocks and pinnacles overgrown with beautiful sponges and thrilling steep walls.
The Musandam Peninsula, in the Strait of Hormuz, is the only waterway between the Persian Gulf and the Arabian Sea. Most of the dives are drift dives due to the strong currents caused by the body of water being squeezed through the passageway between the rock faces. This also means pelagics and plenty of bigger fish such rays, sharks, barracudas, giant trevallies and more. The diving here is best suited to slightly more experienced divers.

Saturday:
- Board boat in Khasab early afternoon
Sunday - Thursday:
- 3 to 4 dives per day, including night dives where applicable
Friday:
- Afternoon disembark and overnight in Khasab hotel (HB basis)
Saturday:
- Depart Khasab or extend stay in Khasab hotel or Muscat
