Emperor Explorer II can accommodate 26 passengers across a range of excellently-designed modern cabins. The standard lower deck cabins typically have both a double and single bed, providing flexible options for solos, couples and groups. The upper deck and main deck suites are spacious with large windows allowing for natural light and stunning sea views, a delightful space to relax in between dives.
All cabins feature individually controlled air-conditioning, en suite bathrooms, and mini safe. Emperor Divers guarantee same sex cabin share. If you're a solo traveller who can’t be ‘roomed’ with someone of the same sex, then you get a cabin to yourself with no single supplement.
Facilities
The supporting diving Dhoni facilitates all diving activities for easy access to the Indian Ocean. Four experienced dive guides are on board to lead divers around famous dive sites and beyond. Each certified diver has their own station and storage box, and there's a dedicated camera table and rinse tank. Diving equipment is available to rent, and PADI courses can be conducted on board.
The Explorer II has four decks, each finished to a high quality. The main deck houses the air-conditioned indoor lounge, bar and dining area where guests receive a complimentary glass of wine with dinner. The upper deck features an al fresco dining area among the shaded outdoor seating area and additional bar, exuding style and serenity. The sun deck is the perfect spot to watch the famous Maldivian sunsets from.

Planning your Holiday
Visas
Entry requirements vary from country to country, and it’s important to check the latest visa information well before you travel. Some destinations may allow visa-free entry for a limited period, while others require an eVisa or a visa obtained in advance. To ensure you have the correct documentation for your trip, we recommend checking the official advice from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) or contacting the relevant country’s embassy or consulate. Other nationalities should check with their own consulate/embassy.
Passports
Before you travel, make sure your passport is valid for the full duration of your trip and meets the entry requirements of your destination. Many countries require at least six months’ validity beyond your planned return date, while others may have different rules. For the most reliable and up-to-date information, visit the UK Government’s passport guidance or the official travel advice pages for your destination. Other nationalities should check with their own consulate/embassy.
If you’re planning to travel to or via an EU country (with certain exceptions) your UK passport must meet two key requirements, it must be less than 10 years old on the day you enter the country and it must be valid for at least three months after your planned departure date.
