A Galaxy Diver III liveaboard trip in the Galápagos offers divers an exceptional opportunity to explore one of the most remarkable marine ecosystems on Earth.

The remote northern islands of Wolf and Darwin are a highlight, where divers frequently encounter impressive schools of hammerhead sharks, gliding eagle rays, and majestic whale sharks in season. The central islands present a different but equally rewarding experience, with chances to see endemic marine iguanas feeding underwater and enjoy memorable interactions with inquisitive penguins and playful sea lions. These volcanic islands are a confluence of currents, creating a destination that's highly sought after by divers keen to witness sharks, rays, turtles, and much more, all in one place.

Facilities

Accommodation on board the Galaxy Diver III is both comfortable and spacious. The vessel features a selection of cabins, all equipped with en suite bathrooms complete with showers, hair dryer, and a towel dryer. Four double cabins boast panoramic windows, offering spectacular views of the archipelago. Additionally, there are two twin cabins, also with sizeable windows, and a lower deck cabin that's well-suited for friends or couples. For those seeking extra space, a spacious cabin on the upper deck offers a king-size bed and additional sofa bed, making it a popular choice for families.

The dive deck is thoughtfully organised to give every diver ample space to gear up comfortably before entering the water. It features dedicated gear stations, camera rinse tanks, and showers. Between dives, guests can relax on the sundeck, which features a hot tub and comfortable sun loungers. There's also a lounge area, ideal for those working on their underwater photography, and a bar to enjoy a post-dive drink at the end of the day. Delicious meals are served in the main dining area, with a menu that easily adapts to pescatarian, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free preferences, ensuring an inclusive experience while cruising these enchanted islands.

Liveaboard Information

Planning your Holiday

Visas

Entry requirements vary from country to country, and it’s important to check the latest visa information well before you travel. Some destinations may allow visa-free entry for a limited period, while others require an eVisa or a visa obtained in advance. To ensure you have the correct documentation for your trip, we recommend checking the official advice from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) or contacting the relevant country’s embassy or consulate. Other nationalities should check with their own consulate/embassy.

Passports

Before you travel, make sure your passport is valid for the full duration of your trip and meets the entry requirements of your destination. Many countries require at least six months’ validity beyond your planned return date, while others may have different rules. For the most reliable and up-to-date information, visit the UK Government’s passport guidance or the official travel advice pages for your destination. Other nationalities should check with their own consulate/embassy.

If you’re planning to travel to or via an EU country (with certain exceptions) your UK passport must meet two key requirements, it must be less than 10 years old on the day you enter the country and it must be valid for at least three months after your planned departure date.

Vaccinations & Health Advice

Health and vaccination requirements differ depending on where you're travelling. Some destinations may require proof of specific vaccinations or recommend certain precautions to protect your wellbeing.

We’re not qualified to provide you with specific advice on vaccinations and strongly recommend that you contact your healthcare professional before you travel to discuss the inoculations you may need to consider.

For trusted guidance on health and vaccination advice, refer to the NHS Travel Vaccination AdviceMasta Travel Health or Travel Health Pro websites.
