Similan Islands - expect a variety of sites from colourful coral gardens to giant granite boulders, caverns, swim-throughs and pinnacles. Underwater highlights include blue spotted rays, leopard sharks, scorpionfish, snapper and angel fish. Elephant Head Rock and North point attract schooling trevally and white-tipped reef sharks as well as plenty of tiny creatures such as crabs and shrimp. Enjoy thrilling drift dives and the chance to encounter larger pelagic species such as mantas and the occasional whale shark at Koh Bon and Tachai. Divers will also visit the impressive Richelieu Rock, one of the most diverse and prolific sites on the itinerary.

Surin Islands – visited only on the 6-night itinerary, these remote islands are home to some of the greatest diversity of hard corals in the region and a wealth of marine life. Highlights here include sightings of Napoleon wrasse, tomato anemonefish and turtles.

If conditions and timings allow, divers will have the opportunity to discover two old tin miner wrecks which were purposely scuttled in the 1990s and are full of life with honeycomb morays, schooling fish and the occasional ray or shark cruising by. These wrecks are near to Khao Lak.

It is recommended that divers are Advanced qualified and must have 10 logged dives to join this trip. The PADI Advanced course can be taken on board.
