The area is most famous for its abundance of green turtles, who grace many dives in the area. Superb visibility, walls adorned with gorgeous corals, and a high biodiversity of marine life both large and small all add to the appeal of a diving holiday to Bunaken.
Located near the city of Manado, divers can choose to stay at a resort on Sulawesi opposite the national park, or stay on an island resort within Bunaken marine park itself.
