An excellent choice for divers who want to try liveaboard safaris, the Freedom IV is a modern, well-appointed vessel offering spacious accommodation across 11 cabins for up to 24 guests. From dramatic walls and coral gardens to thriving pelagic encounters, the Freedom IV takes you to the finest dive sites near Sharm El Sheikh, Ras Mohammed National Park and the Straits of Tiran.
Facilities
The Freedom IV offers a range of comfortable, well-equipped cabins to suit every kind of diver. There are four double bed cabins with an additional single bed, perfect for couples. For those travelling solo or as a buddy pair, the six twin bed cabins provide a cosy cruising. For those who need a little extra space, there's one larger cabin with a double bed and two single beds, ideal for a group of friends or families.
Each cabin comes with air-conditioning, en suite facilities, and its own mini-fridge to keep your drinks cool. With room for up to 24 liveaboard guests, you’ll be sharing this floating holiday resort with a small group of like-minded divers.
When you’re not exploring the vibrant marine life of the Red Sea, the Freedom IV’s inviting indoor spaces will make you feel right at home. Relax in the air-conditioned salon, equipped with a large plasma screen TV, a DVD player, a music system, and a small but well-stocked library for those quieter moments. WiFi is available for catching up with loved ones or sharing snapshots of your latest dives.
Meals are served in the spacious on-board restaurant, where special diets are catered for with care. And if you feel like soaking up some sunshine, the sun deck is the perfect spot to unwind between dives or marvel at the stunning views.
The vessel is outfitted with top-of-the-line air compressors, including 2 x Bauer units and a Nitrox membrane system. Nitrox is available at an additional charge.

Liveaboard Information
Itineraries
The Freedom IV liveaboard operates 3 night and 4-night mini dive safaris each week, departing from Sharks Bay Umbi Diving Village. Shorter 3 night itineraries depart each Monday, while 4 night itineraries begin on Thursdays.
Guests may join these liveaboard departures on their own or extend to make a 7 night holiday with time at Sharks Bay Umbi Diving Village.
The majority of itineraries focus on the Tiran Strait, Ras Mohamed National Park and the Dunraven shipwreck. Select itineraries also take in the famous Thistlegorm wreck, while bespoke itineraries can also be arranged for private charter groups.
Planning your Holiday
Visas
Entry requirements vary from country to country, and it’s important to check the latest visa information well before you travel. Some destinations may allow visa-free entry for a limited period, while others require an eVisa or a visa obtained in advance. Passports
Before you travel, make sure your passport is valid for the full duration of your trip and meets the entry requirements of your destination. Many countries require at least six months’ validity beyond your planned return date, while others may have different rules. For the most reliable and up-to-date information, visit the UK Government’s passport guidance or the official travel advice pages for your destination. Other nationalities should check with their own consulate/embassy.
If you’re planning to travel to or via an EU country (with certain exceptions) your UK passport must meet two key requirements, it must be less than 10 years old on the day you enter the country and it must be valid for at least three months after your planned departure date.
