Bunaken & Lembeh Diving

Day-to-day itinerary

• Day 1

  Depart for Indonesia

  Depart for Manado in Indonesia, typically via Singapore.

• Day 2

  Settle in to your Bunaken dive resort

  Arrive to the city of Manado, in northern Sulawesi, and transfer to your resort by road. There are a number of good dive resort options in this area. Murex Manado is a great base for many, while those looking to splash out my enjoy the beautiful Siladen Island Resort.

  Begin a 7-night stay, with all meals included. The rest of today is yours at leisure to settle into your new surroundings.

• Days 3-8

  Dive Bunaken National Park

  Enjoy six days of diving in and around the Bunaken National Park, making 12 morning boat dives. There are opportunities for more diving in the afternoon.
  
  Bunaken National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famous for its stunning walls, its biodiversity, and plentiful green turtles to enjoy.

• Day 9

  Continue to the Lembeh Strait

  Check out of your Bunaken diving resort this morning and transfer by road to the Lembeh Strait, where your Indonesian diving holiday continues.

  Located at the northern end of the Lembeh Strait, Dive into Lembeh is a superb choice, with access to many of the best muck diving sites, but also the reef diving sites at the north of Lembeh Island.

  Other options include White Sands Beach Resort, or the luxurious Solitude Lembeh Resort.

• Days 10-15

  Dive Lembeh Strait

  Enjoy a further six days of diving in the Lembeh Strait, again making 12 boat dives, with shore diving possible at some dive resorts.
  
  The Lembeh Strait is revered as the muck diving capital of the world, sometimes dubbed the engine room of evolution. The black sand channel between mainland Sulawesi and Lembeh Island is home to an astonishing array of rare, unusual and often incredibly camouflaged marine life. Keep your eyes peeled for mimic octopus, rare scorpionfish, flamboyant cuttlefish, robust ghost pipefish, pygmy seahorses, clown frogfish and much more besides!

• Day 16

  Depart Indonesia

  Return to Manado airport by road today and check-in for your return flight to Singapore, connecting to a second flight later this evening.

• Day 17

  Arrive home, the end of your diving adventure!
