Day-to-day itinerary

• Day 1

  Depart the UK

  Depart the UK today, arriving to Hurghada later this evening. You’ll be met on arrival by a dedicated Regaldive representative and transferred to your hotel.

  The Marriott Beach Resort in Hurghada is ideally situated on its own stretch of beach. Known for its traditional elegance and well appointed accommodation, it is a great base to explore this region of the Red Sea.
  

  Breakfast and dinner are included.
  

  Alternative resort options can also be catered for in Hurghada, El Gouna, Soma Bay or Safaga depending on budget and interests. You may also join a liveaboard (additional cost) if you prefer.

• Days 2-6

  Dive the Red Sea!

  Begin your diving adventure today, with ten dives included as standard.
  
  The Aquarius Dive Club, one of Egypt’s most established and well regarded dive centres, is based on-site at the Marriott Hurghada Beach Resort. Daily boat dives are offered to local sites, including the spectacular marine park surrounding the Giftun islands.
  
  Aquarius Dive Club are also a 5 star PADI dive centre, offering a full range of dive courses, along with snorkelling excursions.

• Day 7

  At leisure

  Today is a day at leisure. You are welcome to arrange more diving locally, take a local tour or simply soak up the wonderful Egyptian sunshine.

• Day 8

  Continue to Luxor

  Depart the coast today and head inland for Luxor in an air-conditioned vehicle, arriving this afternoon.

  A city enriched with ancient tombs and temples, Luxor is the ideal destination for discovering Egypt’s enchanting history. Often referred to as ‘the world’s greatest open-air museum’, its greatest exhibits are the magnificent ruins of the Karnak and Luxor temple complexes.

  On the opposite banks of the Nile lie mysterious monuments, beautiful temples and the fascinating tombs of the Valleys of the Kings and Queens.

  Check in to the Maritim Jolie Ville Luxor (or similar) for a three night stay including breakfast. This deluxe property is situated on a private island on the Nile, with 24 acres of grounds. All rooms feature private terraces with views of the Nile, or the landscaped gardens.
  

  The rest of today is yours at leisure to relax or explore downtown Luxor, a ten minute taxi ride away.

• Days 9-10

  Explore Ancient Egypt!

  After breakfast this morning, you will be met from your hotel and taken on a full day of sight-seeing with an English-speaking, Egyptologist guide. Highlights include the Valley of the Kings, the Karnak temples, Queen Hatsheput’s temple and the Memmon Colossi.

  The next day in Luxor is at leisure to explore this extraordinary outdoor museum at your own pace. Wander to the Luxor Temple, enjoy shopping in the vibrant town, or simply find a café and soak in the Nile scenery.

• Day 11

  Depart for home

  Check out of your Luxor accommodation this morning and return to Hurghada in time for your return flight from the UK. The end of your Egypt adventure!
